Membership Applications

The NCGM began processing several new membership applications on September 15th. It should be noted that our club is family-oriented and inclusive; however, we insist on maintaining a maximum ratio of 1.5 men per woman. The only restriction applies to members in the “individual male” category, who sometimes have to wait a few months before being able to complete their NCGM membership.

Outdoor Outing Portneuf

Last summer, the NCGM, in collaboration with naturists from the social media site Naturistes du Québec, created an outdoor activity in a unique naturist location in the Portneuf region.

The new Outdoor Outing Portneuf activity is an outdoor outing in a magnificent, secluded naturist location located west of Quebec City. The site is wooded but very sunny. It offers privileged access to a major river. There’s a secret half-kilometer trail leading to it. Local naturists facilitate access exclusively for referred guests. They also offer practical accessories to enhance your stay: stairs to descend to the river, picnic tables, wooden chairs, tree hooks for hanging hammocks, charcoal BBQ facilities, pétanque and boules games, a real volleyball court, etc.

This activity is still under development and will be offered annually. It complements our invitational activities at existing naturist locations (naturist centers, other naturist clubs, etc.). Here is the information link on our website: Outdoor Outing Portneuf

Repentigny Pool

This activity is the easiest to organize for our Club. The pool is small but particularly warm (32°C) and comfortable. There is a limit of 40 participants, but don’t worry, as we always have plenty of space available. Last season, we organized six activities at this location.

The Repentigny pool is easily accessible from Highway 40 via Brien Boulevard. Before the activity, there is always a dinner at a local restaurant. Lately, the famous Asian restaurant Cambodiana has been the favorite among our participants.

During our activity in Repentigny, we always set up a volleyball net and use a small beach ball. A water exercise session is offered by one of our members around 8:15 p.m. We also set up a lap line if needed. The evening always ends with subdued lighting for the last half hour. This activity is of course completely family-friendly.

Bowling/Games/Dinner in Laval:

This special activity allows you to enjoy dinner au naturel starting at 6:00 p.m. and bowl between 7:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. You can also bring board games to finish your evening if you don’t want to bowl the entire time. After 9:45 p.m., nudity is no longer permitted, and regular bowling alley patrons can join us, but only from 10:00 p.m. until midnight. The fully licensed restaurant and bar remain open throughout the evening. Many of our members learned to bowl au naturel and are now very good players.

We started this activity last fall and it was an instant success. We organized two activities last season. The fall activity attracted 26 people, and the winter activity attracted 28 people. It was great, but we needed 35 people to make the event profitable.

This activity requires a large reservation, which must be completed at least two months in advance. The October 25th activity is confirmed and will take place as planned. We would like to have at least 40 participants. Help us make this possible. Tell your friends.

We officially confirm that you don’t need to wear clothing to bowl. Try it for yourself; you won’t be disappointed.

Spa Laurentians

We have some very good news to share: Our service provider has completed major renovations to its facility. New electronic locks have been installed. Simply wear a small wristband to open your locker door. Several improvements to the facility will be evident during your next visit. Last year, we added an additional late date in May, which was a great success, even late in the season. This activity has been profitable since last year.

The impeccable location can easily accommodate 100 people. There are still plenty of opportunities to increase the number of participants.

A spa activity is a less steep step to trying naturism for the very first time!

We have scheduled a date for this fall. Our next activity will take place on November 15th.

Gymnasium/Pool Laval

Practicing natural sports activities in a gym is very enjoyable. Many people continue to discover its benefits. Not only is a swimsuit unnecessary during swimming, but a sweaty gym suit is rather unnecessary and even considered disdainful. Many experienced naturists are discovering our gym activities.

The swimming activity that follows the gym activity is very enjoyable. A real net is set up for playing volleyball with a small beach ball. You can shower directly in the pool thanks to two open showers located near the pool. The water temperature in the pool is comfortable. You can dive, swim laps, do aquafitness, or simply socialize. It’s worth noting that the locker rooms include a beautiful wooden sauna and are exemplary clean.

Many members are now better badminton players thanks to our regular Gymnase/Piscine Laval activity which takes place on the first Saturday evening of each month.

Pool Montérégie

Last season, we organized four activities in Sainte-Julie. This activity is mature. The pool is very large, with six lanes. The water temperature is 29°C. It can accommodate nearly a hundred people. It is located at the intersection of Highways 20 and 30 and has a large parking lot. Before the activity, there is always a dinner served at a local restaurant. Since last year, this activity has sometimes been offered on Sundays, and this doesn’t seem to affect the event’s popularity.

An aquafitness session offered by Mariane takes place at the beginning during the first half hour. You can do lap swimming from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in one or two lanes set up according to demand. You can also play volleyball with the two large delinquent balls “Grosse Balloune” and “Foot Balloune” from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Throughout the activity, you can socialize in the shallow and deep areas, with or without floats, with the risk of getting hit in the head by a delinquent ball.

This activity is purely family-friendly. Participants range from young children to seniors. A variety of water accessories are available for borrowing, including small slides, balls, fins, floats, etc.

Before the activity, there is always a dinner served at a local restaurant.

We have decided to schedule two activities in Sainte-Julie for this fall. The October 19th and November 30th activities will take place on Sundays at 6:30 p.m. This activity remains our main swimming activity.

Creation of the ANCN

We are pleased to inform you that the greater Capitale-Nationale region (Quebec City) now has its own naturist association, which was created on July 17, 2025. It is called Association naturiste de la Capitale-Nationale (ANCN).

Several former volunteers from the GNQ (Groupe naturiste de Québec) have joined the ANCN to offer interesting naturist activities, including swimming, yoga sessions, spa activities, and more. This organization is official, just like the NCGM. It is legally registered in the Quebec Enterprise Register and is a non-profit organization. It operates in a similar way to the NCGM.

If you live in the Quebec City area, we invite you to join this new organization. Here is its website address: Association naturiste de la Capitale-Nationale

You can also subscribe to their newsletter, which is published regularly. You can find the newsletter subscription link directly on their website. Click on the “Abonnez-vous” tab at the top of the page.

Their first ANCN swimming activity will take place on October 11th. The NCGM will be pleased to invite its experienced members to participate in an activity entitled “ANCN Visit.” A short trip to Quebec City will then be organized in the same format as our visits to ONNO in Ottawa. Stay tuned for our upcoming activity announcements.

We wish the Association naturiste de la Capitale-Nationale a long and prosperous life!

Carpooling

For each activity, the NCGM offers a carpooling service for members who wish to participate. We will continue to promote this service. This option is offered directly when you register for each of our activities. We coordinate transportation from your addresses to maximize the efficiency of the service. Feel free to use this service.

To conclude

The NCGM needs your support. Join and register for the activities offered!
