Membership Applications

Please note that the NCGM does not process membership applications during the summer season. New applications received will be processed in September. Please note that we are an inclusive family club and insist on maintaining a maximum ratio of 1.8 men/women. The only constraint is for people in the “individual man” category who sometimes have to wait a few months before having the opportunity to complete their membership at the NCGM.

New Bowling/Games/Dinner Laval activity:

We try to listen to our members and we have noticed a strong interest in diversified social activities. It is with pleasure that we announce the creation of a new bowling activity formula which will now include board games and a naturist meal in the same place. More details will follow in the coming weeks. Here is the link to this new activity:

Bowling/Games/Dinner Laval

Upcoming activities Piscine Montérégie

Last year, we welcomed about thirty people on three occasions. This activity is truly expanding. The pool is very large with its 6 lanes. The water temperature is 32C. It can accommodate nearly a hundred people. It is located at the intersection of highways 20 and 30 and has a large parking lot. Before the activity, there is always a dinner offered at a local restaurant.

This activity is purely family-friendly. There are participants of all ages from young children to seniors. It is possible to borrow a variety of aquatic accessories including small slides, balls, fins, floats, etc.

We have decided to schedule two Piscine Montérégie (Sainte-Julie) activities for this fall. The activity on October 26 will take place on a Saturday and that of December 1 will take place on a Sunday for the first time at the same time 6:30 p.m.

Review of the 2023-2024 season:

The NCGM completed its second full year of regular activities on August 31, 2024. During this year, the NCGM carried out the following 23 activities:

  • 4 swims in Repentigny
  • 4 badminton sessions in the gym in Laval
  • 5 bowling evenings in Laval
  • 3 swims in Laval
  • 3 spa/sauna/lodge activities in the Laurentians
  • 3 swims in Sainte-Julie
  • 1 ONNO invitation, wave pool in Ottawa.

The NCGM invited its members to try several activities offered in the two large naturist centers located in the greater Montreal area (L’Oasis and La Pommerie). Several members had the pleasure of discovering leisure activities in a naturist center for the very first time.

The 2023-2024 season is the first profitable year of the NCGM with financial surpluses. The number of participations in activities has increased by 130%. This is normal because the club is new and progressing very quickly.

As of September 1, 2022, we had 52 registered members (38 valid registrations). As of May 1, 2023, we had 145 registered members (102 valid registrations). Finally, as of May 1, 2024, we had 258 registered members (193 valid registrations). A registered member is a member accepted to the NCGM after completing the required formalities which include a telephone interview. Each member must be in good standing (have their membership fee paid) to have the privilege of participating in an activity.

Carpooling

For each activity, the NCGM offers a carpooling service for members who want it. We will continue to tirelessly promote this service. This choice is directly offered when you register for each of our activities. We coordinate transportation from your addresses to maximize the efficiency of the service. Do not hesitate to use this service.

Newsletter, March 29, 2024

Dear members and future members of the NCGM, we hope you are having a wonderful winter season. At the NCGM, we note continued progress with the increase in the number of members and activities offered. We sometimes offer one activity per week, trying to diversify the location and type of activity. Our main priorities are: naturist ethics, the quality of the activity offered and accessibility while respecting a certain male/female ratio.

Since the start of the 2023-24 season, we have organized:

  • 9 swimming activities in Repentigny, Laval and Sainte-Julie
  • 4 badminton activities in Laval
  • 2 spa sauna relaxation activities in the Laurentians
  • 4 bowling activities in Laval
  • 1 ONNO invitational activity in Ottawa.

The activity schedule is sometimes modified to accommodate weather conditions, registration rates and the availability of services offered by our suppliers.

The month of April will be very busy because one activity per week will be offered. We’re counting on your participation.

Our activity Pool Montérégie

We have received twice more than thirty people since the start of the 2023-2024 season. The swimming pool is very large and can accommodate almost a hundred people. The place is located at the intersection of highways 20 and 30 and has a large parking lot. Before the activity, there is always a dinner offered at a local restaurant.

This activity is purely family friendly. The Sainte-Julie swimming pool is the largest offered with its 6 lanes. The water there is at a temperature of 32C. There are participants of all ages from young children to elderly people. It is possible to borrow a variety of aquatic accessories including small slides, balls, fins, floats, etc.

For the next activity on April 27, an aqua fitness session will be offered at the start. Then, a volleyball net and a swimming lane will be available. It will be possible to go lap swimming from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and play volleyball with our two large delinquent balls “Grosse Balloune” and “Foot Balloune” from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Throughout the activity, it is possible to socialize in the shallow and deep areas with or without floats, although with the risk of receiving a delinquent ball on the head…

Our activity Gymnasium/Pool Laval

This activity began last fall and was offered in the afternoon. We were not able to get any new rentals in the afternoon. On March 23, this same activity was offered in the evening between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. We had around twenty participants in the gymnasium and swimming pool. It was a real success that we will try to repeat this fall.

Practicing natural sporting activities in a gym is very pleasant. Many people are now discovering the benefits. It’s not just a swimsuit during a swimming activity that is superfluous, but a sweat-filled gym suit is rather unnecessary and even dismissive. Several experienced naturists discover our gym activities.

The swimming activity that follows the gym activity is very pleasant. We install a real net there to play volleyball with a small beach ball. It is possible to take a shower directly at the swimming pool thanks to two open showers located near the pool. The water temperature in the pool is comfortable. You can dive, lap swim, do aqua fitness or simply socialize. We should not forget to mention that the changing rooms include a sauna and are exemplary clean.

Our activity Spa Laurentians

Our last two Spa Laurentides activities on November 18, 2023 and February 24, 2024 attracted 45 and 47 participants. This place of impeccable quality can easily accommodate 100 people. There are still many opportunities to increase the number of participants.

A spa activity is a less steep step to try naturism for the very first time.

Our next activity will take place on April 6. There is still space but all the suites are already rented.

Ratio of men/women in swimming activities

Last year and last fall, we noticed that our swimming activities were not very popular with female customers. It is important to mention that this is in no way a problem for our Spa Laurentides activity which is very popular with couples.

Last December, we offered women free access to all our swimming activities. It is difficult to assess the impact that such an initiative has had, but we have noticed a significant improvement during our recent swimming activities, especially in Sainte-Julie.

From now on, we will rely on rigorous application of our ethical rules to reassure our female customers, allowing them to have better access to our activities.

Ladies if you have any suggestions please let us know. Your involvement will surely make a difference.

The NCGM: a naturist solidarity initiative among several others

The NCGM is very proud to have friendly links with several other naturist organizations, clubs, federations, social media, etc. We have a links page on our website:

Links

The two large naturist centers located in the covered region of our club (La Pommerie Ecological and Naturist Center and Oasis Naturist Center) accept the publication of our naturist activities in their private Facebook groups.

The social media Les Amis Naturistes has also agreed to publish our naturist activities on their forum and their Facebook page.

The NCGM has been a corporate member of the Canadian Federation of Naturists (FCN) since 2021.

To encourage all local, provincial and national naturist initiatives, the NCGM offers a discount of $5 per person per year on its membership rate to all members of the FCN, FQN, and any naturist center.

Memberships

As of September 1, 2022, we had 52 registered members (38 valid registrations). As of March 29, 2024, we have 252 members registered or in good standing (182 valid registrations). A registered member is a person accepted by the NCGM after having completed the required formalities which include a telephone interview. Each member must be in good standing (have paid their dues) to have the privilege of participating in an activity. We currently have a male/female ratio of 1.80.

Carpooling

For each activity, the NCGM offers a carpooling service for members who wish it. We will continue to tirelessly promote this service. This choice is directly offered when you register for each of our activities. We coordinate transportation from your addresses to maximize service efficiency. Don’t hesitate to use this service.

Dear members and future members of the NCGM, we hope you have a wonderful autumn. At the NCGM, a significant increase in participation in activities was noted. We had 5 online activities without cancellation between October 21 and November 18 and it’s not over because there are still 3 activities left before the holiday season.

Next activity Pool Montérégie

The next one will be our Montérégie Swimming Pool activity (Sainte-Julie) on December 2. This pool is the largest offered, there are 6 lanes. The water there is at a temperature of 32C just like that of Repentigny. There is social swimming, lap swimming, diving, water volleyball, aqua fitness, etc. Several most entertaining aquatic accessories will be available (fins, floats, balloons, etc.). The activity is preceded by an optional dinner in a nearby restaurant.

We particularly encourage this swimming pool because it is large, accessible, will soon be completely renovated and we are welcome there.

New activity Gymasium/Pool Laval

This activity began on November 11 with around twenty participants. Finally, we have regular gym/swimming pool activity. Practicing natural sporting activities in a gym is very pleasant. Many people are now discovering the benefits. It’s not just a swimsuit during a swimming activity that is superfluous, but a sweat-filled gym suit is rather unnecessary and even dismissive. Several long-time naturists are now discovering it thanks to this new activity.

The swimming activity that follows the gym activity is very relaxing. It is possible to take a shower directly at the pool thanks to two open showers located near the pool. The water temperature in the pool is very warm. You can dive, lap swim, do aqua fitness or simply socialize. We should not forget to mention that the locker rooms include a sauna and are remarkably clean.

Our latest Spa Laurentians activity

Our last Spa Laurentides activity on November 18, 2023 was once again a great success with the participation of 45 participants. This time all the baths were available. This place of impeccable quality can easily accommodate 100 people. There are still many opportunities to increase the number of participants.

A spa activity is a less steep step to try naturism for the very first time.

We plan to organize at least 2 other Spa Laurentides activities this winter. Watch our calendar for upcoming dates.

Ratio of men/women in swimming activities

We have noticed that our swimming activities are not yet very popular with female members. It is important to mention that this is in no way a problem for the Spa Laurentides activities which is very popular with couples.

We are looking for solutions to increase the participation rate of couples in swimming activities. We are not interested in using methods that restrict access to activities to certain types of participants (e.g. single men). In addition, we need to maximize the number of participants to make the activities profitable. To follow up on several suggestions from our members, we have decided to temporarily offer free access to women members of the NCGM to swimming activities.

Please note that this offer only applies to Gymnasium/Pool Laval, Pool Repentigny and Pool Montérégie activities until the end of 2023. A male/female member couple only pays the amount for a single man. It is possible that this offer will be extended for the winter 2024 season.

Application for corporate membership with the Fédération québécoise de naturisme (FQN)

The NCGM applied for corporate membership to the Fédération québécoise de naturisme (FQN) on September 18. For the moment, the NCGM has not received any positive response from the FQN. A negotiation had been started without producing results. Despite this, the NCGM grants any member of the FQN or the FCN a reduction of $5 per person per year on their NCGM membership rate. The NCGM has already been a corporate member of the Federation of Canadian Naturists (FCN) since 2021.

Memberships

As of September 1, 2022, we had 52 registered members (38 valid registrations). As of November 26, 2023, we have 190 members registered or in good standing (138 valid registrations). A registered member is a person accepted by the NCGM after having completed the required formalities which include a telephone interview. Each member must be in good standing (have paid their dues) to have the privilege of participating in an activity. We currently have a male/female ratio of 1.91.

Carpooling

For each activity, the NCGM offers a carpooling service for members who wish it. We will continue to tirelessly promote this service. This choice is directly offered when you register for each of our activities. We coordinate transportation from your addresses to maximize service efficiency. Don’t hesitate to use this service.

Newsletter, August 18, 2023

Dear members and future members of the NCGM, we hope you are having a great summer. The summer season is ending soon and now is the time to plan naturist activities for the fall season. At the NCGM we have already made our reservation requests for each of our activities.

Fall 2023 program (update: 2023 10 12)

Pool Repentigny

Saturday, 7 p.m., September 30 and October 21, 2023

Bowling Laval

Saturday, 7 p.m., November 4 and December 16, 2023

Pool Montérégie

Saturday, 6:30 p.m., December 2, 2023

Gymnasium Laval

Saturday, 3 p.m., October 28, 2023

Gymnasium/Pool Laval

Saturday, 2 p.m., November 11 and December 9, 2023

Spa Laurentians

Saturday, 7:30 p.m., November 18, 2023

This program is dynamic and will depend on the opportunities for activities offered and of course on the participation rate of the members. We are trying to harmonize the dates of our activities with the ONNO club of Ottawa/Gatineau. It is possible that the renovation work on the Sainte-Julie swimming pool will not yet be completed by October 28. In this case, another swimming activity will then be offered.

Membership applications

Please note that the NCGM does not process membership applications during the summer season. New requests received will be processed from August 15, 2023.

Summary of the 2022-2023 season:

We are already approaching the end of the first full year of regular activities at the NCGM, which ends on August 31. Since September 1, 2022, the NCGM has carried out five swimming activities in Repentigny, one swimming activity in Sainte-Julie, two bowling activities in Laval, two spa activities in the Laurentians and three gymnasium activities in Laval.

Some club members also participated in activities organized by other clubs, such as a swim in a wave pool organized by the ONNO club in Ottawa and a sugar shack dinner activity organized by the Center Naturiste Oasis in Terrebonne.

This summer, the NCGM invited its members to try several activities offered in the two major naturist centers located in the greater Montreal area (L’Oasis and La Pommerie). Some new members had the pleasure of discovering leisure activities in a naturist center for the first time.

The fall 2022 season was particularly difficult, several activities had been canceled due to the lack of participants. The winter season was more successful with no cancellations but with two activity changes. The financial year saw a financial deficit but this was considered normal as the club is still in its infancy.

As of September 1, 2022, we had 52 registered members (38 registrations). As of May 1, 2023, we had 145 registered members (102 registrations). A registered member is a member accepted into the NCGM after completing the required formalities which include a telephone interview. Each member must be in good standing (have their dues paid) to have the privilege of participating in an activity.

New sporting activity in development:

Since this spring, the NCGM has started developing an activity with an exclusively sports theme. The following sports are offered: badminton, volleyball, free swimming, lap swimming and aqua fitness session. It is a weekly activity in an initial session of 4 weeks. It is reserved for naturists wishing to maintain good physical shape and will take place on a weekday evening.

This activity can start as soon as there are a minimum of pre-registered participants. A first attempt was made in June but without success. To succeed, we need enough registrations a few months in advance to allow us to rent the pool and gymnasium simultaneously. We will make a new attempt at the end of August beginning of September. If this activity interests you, the first thing to do is to pre-register now. Here is the link :

Newsletter, February 28, 2023

The news is rather good at the NCGM because for 3 months now, all our announced activities have finally taken place. We now have 135 members and growing steadily. We have a huge backlog to make up for in the Montreal region compared to Ottawa, Calgary or Toronto. The NCGM is there to make up for this delay by now having a real independent club whose main mission is to organize naturist activities.

The Federation of Canadian Naturists (FCN) has understood this for a long time and encourages us in our efforts. We have just completed a comprehensive 8-page survey with the FCN. This survey dealt only with naturist clubs without land in all of Canada where there are several. On the part of the NCGM, we have expressed our desire to now have services in French directly from the FCN website.

The multiplication of the number of independent naturist organizations (clubs, forums, social media, etc.) is undoubtedly the most effective way to ensure the progress of the naturist movement in Quebec.

Our latest activity Spa Laurentians

Our last Spa Laurentians activity on February 11, 2023 was a great success with 43 participants (24 men and 19 women). We received many new participants. A spa activity is a less steep walk to try naturism for the first time. Our next date will be Friday evening March 31, 2023. However, we will need enough registrations two weeks in advance to confirm this event. Please register as soon as possible.

Next activity Pool Montérégie

Natural swimming during the cold season is still the main activity of our club. The main place to organize this swim is the famous Sainte-Julie swimming pool. We encourage you to participate in this activity which has the potential to bring together a greater diversity of participants. This activity is preceded by an optional dinner at the Score restaurant in Sainte-Julie.

For families, there will be many aquatic accessories that will make this activity very entertaining: flippers, floats, mattresses, small slide, etc. For athletes, there will be a real volleyball net installed in the shallow part of the pool and two swimming lanes available throughout the swimming period. There will be an aqua fitness session in the second hour in the shallow area. We are waiting for you in large numbers on March 11, 2023.

Carpooling

For each activity, the NCGM offers a carpooling service for members who want it. We continue to promote this service tirelessly. It is not widely used so far. However, the younger generation is beginning to use it. This choice is offered directly when you register for each of our activities. We coordinate transportation from your addresses to maximize service efficiency. Feel free to use this service.

Memberships

As of February 28, 2023, the number of NCGM members has reached 135 people (94 registrations) and has doubled in the last 6 months. We currently have a male to female ratio of 1.68.

Continued Growth of NCGM

As of December 27, 2022, the NCGM has a total of 104 members.

Please note that only the Canadian Naturist Federation (FCN) supports our club but the latter does not send emails to its members to announce our activities because this is not the role of a naturist federation which must offer fair visibility. for all naturist businesses (clubs without grounds, naturist centres, forums, beaches, etc.). Our club is advertised in the list of clubs in Canada and on the FCN website. However, this advertising is very limited, especially in Quebec. Despite everything, Facebook, Google, our website and word-of-mouth advertising work very well but it’s a long term and you have to be patient. We are only one year old…

Small calendar directly accessible on the homepage of the website

Our home page has been modified for a few weeks. You will find a small format version of the calendar of NCGM activities. You only have to consult this small calendar to have direct access to the information page including the registration form for each of the activities offered.

Second change to the fall schedule

Our Fall 2022 program has been modified once again to accommodate our current membership which is now 87. The Spa Laurentides activity was canceled for a second time as the registration rate remained low. The Pool Montérégie activity initially scheduled for December 17 will be postponed to a later date when the Club has more members. For the month of December, Gymnasium Laval and Pool Repentigny activities will be added to the schedule.

No offer of activity will be eliminated at the CNGM. However, any activity scheduled but for which the number of registrations is insufficient may be replaced by another activity.

AGM 2022

Our first Annual General Meeting took place on November 24, 2022. Eight members in good standing were present. The club’s annual report and financial statement were presented. The current directors of the Club have been reappointed. François Lévesque combines the functions of president and treasurer. Jean Morency combines the functions of vice-president and secretary. Stéphane V. Lemieux is a director.

New activity Gymnasium Laval

At the request of one of our members, we have created a new activity called Gymnasium Laval. It will then be possible to practice badminton and volleyball in the gymnasium from December 3. Several dates may be added at the request of our members. Here is the activity link:

Gymnasium Laval

Home page Modification

Our homepage has been changed. We have removed the season program download link and replaced it with a small format version of our calendar. From now on, all you have to do is consult this little calendar to have direct access to the information page including the registration form for each of the activities offered.

Pool Montérégie

On November 12, our first Piscine Montérégie activity took place with the participation of 14 people. This pool is very large and can easily accommodate all current CNGM members… Here is Jean Morency’s comment: “Oh what a wonderful evening we spent there! An excellent group was able to enjoy a respectable size swimming pool, with two swimming lanes worthy of the name and moreover a really comfortable water. Thank you to everyone who participated to make this evening entertaining.” We are thinking of the beginning of February 2023 for the next activity in this place.

To conclude

The CNGM needs to be encouraged at its fair value. There is no specific target regarding the speed of its expansion. He lets the interest in our Club grow with the naturist community. It will take time and its administrators are very persistent.

(Update 2022 11 07)

The NCGM was the first naturist activity organization in the Montreal region to publish on its website a complete schedule of activities for the fall 2022 season. Four activities have been scheduled, some of which are offered through suppliers who have already been welcoming naturists for several years. These activities are as follows: Swimming pool in Repentigny, Swimming pool in Montérégie, Spa Laurentides and Bowling in Laval.

Affiliation à la FCN (Federation of Canadian Naturists)

In the fall of 2021, during the creation of the CNGM and its new provisional website, the designer of the website had put a sentence on the home page displaying an alleged affiliation of the FCN and the FQN with their respective logos. The FQN asked us to remove their logo. However, the FCN sent us congratulations with an invitation to become a corporate member of the FCN. We accepted FCN’s offer. Then, the existence of our club was published on the FCN website and in the magazine Au Naturel. Thanks to this, our club now has several new English-speaking members from the Montreal area.

At the CNGM, we believe that any naturist federation should have as its main mandate to promote naturism in diversity by supporting the many naturist initiatives including groups, clubs, social media, etc.

Beginning of fall activities

On October 8, our first swimming activity took place in Repentigny with the participation of 12 people, including 5 people who participated for the first time in an urban naturist activity. Despite the small size of the pool, some participants practiced lap swimming. Others benefited from the aqua fitness session offered by the supervisor. A photograph with permission was taken and shared in our NCGM Facebook group. Unfortunately, our second swim on October 29 in Repentigny was canceled because we did not have enough registrations.

Our famous Spa Laurentides activity which was to take place on October 21 has also been canceled due to lack of registration. Particularly for this activity, we want it to be completely self-financed. Hopefully our next activity on December 2 will take place. It’s up to members to register, club volunteers have done their part, encourage them!

Swimming in Montérégie

November 12 will be an important date to remember because it will be our first big swimming activity for the club and it will take place in Sainte-Julie in Montérégie. Since our club is still in its infancy, it is obvious that this pool will not be filled to capacity. Our priority is to make the event very successful: installation of tarps to cover the windows, installation of the volleyball net, preparation of the swimming lanes, animation of the aquafitness, etc. This swimming pool will be completely renovated in 2023. It is very important now to become an excellent naturist client at this beautiful and entertaining place. This activity will not be canceled regardless of the number of registrations received. Sign up and allow this activity to take off. Some will say that Sainte-Julie is far away and that the cost of gas is high, so consider carpooling!

Modification of the fall schedule

Our fall 2022 program has been modified. Given that this fall the offer of naturist activities is very high in the Montreal area, the NCGM has chosen to eliminate certain activities. Thus, the Bowling activity in Laval will ultimately not be offered. The date of the second pool activity in Montérégie was changed to December 17, 2022.

Carpooling

For each activity, the NCGM offers a carpooling service for members who want it. This service is desirable given the considerable distances to be traveled to participate in certain activities, environmental considerations and the high cost of gasoline. Feel free to use this service by registering for an activity. This choice is offered directly on each registration form.

Memberships

As of November 2, 2022, the number of NCGM members has reached 79 people (55 registrations) and has almost doubled in the last 6 months. We currently have a male to female ratio of 1.93.

AGM 2022

The NCGM is a democratic organization and is governed by Quebec laws regarding non-profit organizations. On November 24, 2022, the first annual general meeting of the NCGM will take place at 8:00 p.m. Only members will receive an invitation by email 2 weeks before the meeting.

To conclude

The priority of the CNGM remains to offer all that was promised to its members: to organize various activities with care, to accept only true naturists in the club and to properly sponsor new participants and participants in the activities. Our goal is to entertain us naturally while respecting the principles of naturism.

Invitations to naturist centers and fall 2022 program

The NCGM officially began its operations last spring. A first spa activity took place in the Laurentians and was a real success for a first Club activity. Starting in April, two other activities were offered to our members but they were canceled because there were not enough registrations. You have to understand that we were at the end of the season for indoor naturist activities. The latter are no longer popular after April as naturist resorts begin their summer operations.

Our first summer season was an opportunity to create two annual events that we do not define as official Club activities. Rather, they are invitations sent to our members to visit the two major naturist centers in the greater Montreal area, the Oasis and the Pommerie.

A first invitation has been sent to visit the Oasis. A dozen members of the NCGM met at the Oasis at the beginning of July and had the opportunity to participate in the “Beach Party” at the swimming pool with singer percussionist Anthony. We also had the participation of ONNO with the presence of a couple who were visiting the Oasis for the first time. For the end of August, another invitation was sent to visit the Pommerie.

The fall 2022 calendar is now online. The NCGM will have the pleasure of organizing three swims at the famous swimming pool at the Center Aquatique Le Gardeur in Repentigny. Two spa activities in the Laurentians, two swims in Montérégie and two evenings of bowling in Laval are planned. The Sainte-Julie (Montérégie) swimming pool is very entertaining and includes a springboard, water slides, saunas, etc.

The NCGM is trying to create a sports bathing activity that may be suitable for naturists wishing to train with a weekly schedule.

For each activity, the NCGM offers a carpooling service for members who want it. This service is desirable given the considerable distances involved, environmental considerations and the high cost of gasoline.

Now is the time to join the NCGM!

Half-year membership is now officially available at all times. The price of this mid-season membership is half the annual price.

For any new member accepted at the NCGM, it is now possible to pay for their membership in cash when participating in an activity for the first time. From now on, any new member accepted to the NCGM will receive their membership number with the mention “registered member” if an online payment is not received within 7 days of the acceptance email. Membership status changes from “registered member” to “member in good standing” upon payment of dues.

First successful event!

The CNGM carried out its very first “Spa naturiste Laurentides” activity which took place on March 25, 2022 in Morin Heights. There was the presence of 10 couples and 7 single people for a total of 27 participants. It was a flawless success for a first CNGM event. It is also a first naturist event for this health spa center which can accommodate up to 80 people. Another activity is planned for the end of May or the beginning of June.

Two other new activities are now on the schedule. There is a new sugar shack that will accept naturists in the Lanaudière region on Saturday April 23, 2022. The first swimming activity will take place on Saturday evening May 14 in a magnificent swimming pool in Montérégie including a diving board, water slide, water, saunas, etc.

For each activity, the CNGM offers a carpooling service for members who want it. This service is desirable given the considerable distances involved, environmental considerations and the high cost of gasoline.

To make itself known, the CNGM received help from various social media (La Pommerie, Oasis and ONNO). We should also mention the Facebook group Le naturisme au Québec (LNAQ). The Federation of Canadian Naturists (FCN) publishes our Club information in their Going Natural / Au Naturel magazine and on their website.

Here are the latest CNGM developments:

  • The Club now has 38 members in good standing. The payment of the dues is mainly done online by Interac.
  • In the coming weeks, new participants will be able to start practicing naturism for the first time using our sponsorship service.
  • The Club is a member of the Regroupement Loisirs et Sports du Québec (RLSQ), which is the main organization serving sports and leisure clubs and associations in Quebec.

As we are at the end of the year, the annual membership for the following year is now available. It covers the period from April 1, 2022 to August 31, 2023:

  • Annual membership for FQN/FCN member: $15/single, $20/couple
  • Annual membership for non-FQN/FCN members: $20/single, $30/couple
